Dexter Disc Golf Course

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!
Dexter Disc Golf Course is being damaged by the heavy use it is receiving. Something must be done to save the natural beauty of the course before it's too late. The Corps of Engineers and Oregon State Parks are going to be working with EDGC volunteers to come up with an environmental management and mitigation plan for the course. This will include all kinds of possibilities, from increased signage and better trails to closing part of the course at certain times of the year. If you have any interest in helping keep Dexter a beautiful environment to play Disc Golf; contact Roller Bob (541)485-1886, Bruce Sisson (541)485-3275, or Paul Mize(541)342-3087. Also check the bulletin board at Dexter for updates and work parties.

Dexter has 18 Mach 3 baskets/cement tee pads, and two pin locations for every hole but #2.  Check the sign at hole one for any new course designs. You'll find tee one between the two parking lots next to the information box. the course wanders through tight woods and open fields and up and down the ridge next to the reservoir. Respect the natural features of the course by not littering! Pack out your bottles. There are Garbage cans located near the parking lot. Dexter park and disc golf course are free to the public, but there is a donation box near hole One's tee. Any donations go to maintenance and improvements of Dexter Disc Golf Course. If you're looking for people to play with, check out Dexter Doubles, Handicap league, and the eugene Celebration.
